Because You Rose: A Resurrection Poem

Hope seemed to dwindle. Darkness appeared to have won. Death struck and we all thought that all was lost. But Jesus, you arose and defeated the grave. Because You rose, there is life and life more abundantly. The Light has won. We sing the victor’s song. Because You rose, we have purpose

. Because you rose , there is freedom. There is liberation from our bondage. We have life and life eternal with You. All Because You Rose.Because You rose, we are not consumed by the crushing weight of sin. You have emancipated us from the slavery of living according to our own passions. Because You rose, we are free to live for You . We are free to love You. For You loved us first. That is why You died on the cross, because of Your overwhelming love. But You did not stay in the grave. You did not stay in the grave. You arose , making us more than conquerors . Our salvation is complete, all because You rose.

Because You rose, there is liberty. The shackles of shame have loosened. There is no condemnation because we belong to You. We are children of the most High God. Our God is not dead; He is alive. Jesus , You are worthy of praise and adoration. For death did not defeat You. You stared death in the face and won! You have redeemed us from the marketplace of sin. You have crowned us with resurrection life. All because You rose.

The same power that rose Jesus from the dead dwells within us . That means overwhelming victory is ours for the taking. Because You rose, Jesus we have newness of life. There is hope. There is Freedom from depression and mental anguish. Because You rose there is healing. We are raised to new life with You. All because You Rose.

  Because You Rose, we have access to You. We can come to Your throne with boldness and certainty because we know that You will hear us. So, we offer a new song of praise to You. For You are not a God that is powerless. You are not a God who is frail. No, You are the great God of the Universe . The Victorious Soon Coming King. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that You are LORD.
