May Prayer

 Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You! Thank You for bringing us to the month of May. Thank You for Your keeping power. LORD, I pray that this month will have us standing on Your promises. May we cling to You like never before. Help us to lean on You. For, apart from You, we can do nothing. Please be our peace amid the threat of anxiety. Please overshadow us with Your Presence. Remind us that You will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Help us to do what is right.  Help us to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with You, God. May our steps be quickened.

May we not only be hearers of Your Word but doers also. God, please direct our paths and guide us. May we be strengthened by Your love. Dear God, please help us to put on all of your armor so that we can stand firm against the strategies of the enemy. Help us to focus on You . Please help us to be still and know that You are God. Be exalted within us , dear God. May the rhythm of our lives be a sweet sound to Your ears .Help us to know that we have the closest friend in You. In times of deep loneliness, remind us that You are closer than a brother. May we know that we are never alone. . .May we know that the joy of the LORD is our strength. Help us to be exuberant with joy. Dear God, help us to wait on You. Help us to delight ourselves in You. Help us to seek Your Kingdom first. Lord, we give You our pursuits. We give You our plans. Do with them as You wish. We just want You. We want more of You. Please draw near to us as we draw near to You. . Lord, I pray that we will never forget that You know the end from the beginning. You are in control. You are our strength and our shield. So why should we be afraid? You protect us and You fortify us. Thank You God for being our defense. Thank You God for never leaving us or forsaking us. Help us not to forget Your promises. For all  of Your promises are Yes and Amen. Please enrapture us in Your love. We praise You God , for You are worthy of praise . Have Your own way in us.
