August Prayer

 

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for bringing us to another month. Thank You for Your blessings. Thank You for Your love and grace. Thank You for Your mercy. You are great and worthy of praise.

LORD God, let our default position be that of love. Please cause us to reflect Your love toward us. Please consume us with Your lovingkindness. Make us more like You. LORD, amid every season, let us respond with worship. Let us respond with adoration, for You are the majestic King of the Universe. Apart from You , we can do nothing. We honor You.

LORD, You are entirely faithful. Please take complete control of us. Remind us of Your goodness in the morning. Satiate us with Your unfailing love. Let August bring a fresh realization of Your great love for us. Help us never to forget the simple gospel.

If we are plagued with doubt, please help us to look to Your Word for assurance. Help us to meditate upon Your promises. Help us to seek Your Face. God, please cause Your Face to shine upon us. Let us radiate with Your Presence. Please let August be filled with us sitting at Your feet, basking in the beauty of Your gaze.

Strengthen us, Father, God. Help us to be strong and courageous. Help us to be dependent on You. Help us to be obedient to You. Deliver us from temptation. Help us to be victorious. Help us to walk in freedom.

Thank You God, for all You have done and all You are going to do. Please bless us indeed, for if You bless us, we will be blessed.
