September Prayer

 

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for blessing us with the dawn of September. Thank You for showering us with Your grace and mercy. Thank You for bringing us this far. Help us to honor You with our lives. May our thoughts and deeds be pleasing to You. Help us to be still and know that You are God. Help us know that you are in control. Thank You, LORD God, for Your unchanging nature. You are constant.Your love never fails. Please forgive our sins. Please draw us closer to You. Help us to abide in Your love. LORD, thank You for giving us good gifts. As the weather gets colder, help us to be comforted by the warmth of Your Presence. Even though the seasons change, You still remain faithful to us. Thank You, God.  Please help us to be strong and courageous. Help us not to look to the right or the left, but help us to be fixed on You. LORD, lead and direct us. Please consume us with Your love. Help us to love each other. Help us to forgive each other. Help us to cling to You.

LORD, thank You for never leaving or forsaking us. Thank You for being present throughout the many terrains and contours of life. Thank You for being near to us. May we meditate on Your goodness. May we reflect on Your promises. Thank You for the blessing of being Yours. Thank You for Your great and magnificent love. Please help us to listen to Your voice as revealed in Your holy Word. Help us to be obedient to You.

LORD, thank You for September. May Your blessings flow down and fill us to overflowing. Please rest on us and have Your own way in us.

Thank You, God, for who You are.
