October Prayer

 Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for bringing us this far into October. Thank you for Your many blessings. Thank You for Your abundant grace. Your mercies are new every morning. Great is Your Faithfulness. LORD, thank You for never relenting in Your pursuit of us. Thank You for Your sacrificial love for us. Thank You for never giving up on us. LORD, when we grow weary, please revive us again. Make our hearts tender before You. Please give us a single mind to worship You and You alone. Please take complete control of us.

Dear God, we desperately need You. Please quiet our minds. Help us to focus on You. Please grant us perfect peace. Help us to know that we are loved by You.  Please forgive us of our idolatry. Please draw us closer to You. LORD, help us never to take You for granted. Help us to be in awe of You each day. Without You, God, where would we be? Help us to be confident in You.

As the leaves change colors, help us to be reminded that You are constant. In the midst of changing seasons, You remain the same. Help us to trust You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, but in all our ways, help us to acknowledge You, and You will direct our paths. LORD, we really need Your direction. Please guide us. Please show us the path that we must follow. Help us to be obedient to You. Help us not to go our own way.

May Your perfect will be done in our lives. Please help us to be conformed to the likeness of Christ. Please show us the way that we must go. Please help our innocence shine like dawn.  Thank You, God, for Your sustaining mercies. Thank You for Your beautiful grace. Thank You for keeping us. Thank You that no one can snatch us out of Your Hand. We are Yours forever.
