January 2026 Prayer

 Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the dawn of a new month- the month of January. LORD God, we give this month to You. We give You our hopes, our dreams, our desires, and our aspirations. We give everything to You. LORD, thank You for Your great faithfulness toward us. Thank You for always providing us. Please help us to devote ourselves to You afresh. LORD, we invite You into our dreams. We invite You into our plans. We want what You want for us, LORD God. Please help us to commit our ways unto You. Help us to surrender to You wholly. Please teach us to desire You more than anything. We want to hear Your voice. We want to seek You first. LORD, thank You for seeing us. Thank You for establishing us in Your love. Please help us always remember how much You love us. Please comfort us with Your abiding Presence.

Help us to walk in obedience to You. Help us to trust and obey You. LORD, we desperately need You. January is the beginning of the year. Please help us set up habits that will set the tone for the rest of the year. Please help us to cultivate discipline. Help us be intentional with the resources that You have provided us with. Please help our hearts align with Your will. Please wash us clean. Please purify us. Please help us to surrender control. Help us to let go of sin and grab hold of Your freedom.

LORD, you see our desires. You see the longings of our hearts. Please help us to delight ourselves in You. Please help us to live out the gospel. Help us to live the abundant life that Jesus promised us. We need You, LORD God. Please draw near to us. Cause us to draw near to You. Please help us to commune with You. Help us to cling to You. You’re all we want. You’re all we want.
